Inspection and Fixed Equipment Manager

 Job Purpose & Responsibilities      Provide overall leadership & coaching to 3 - 5 Inspection and Static Equipment Engineers and 8 contract API inspectors. The focus will be to manage the Inspection program to improve asset reliability, reduce maintenance costs and foster continuous improvements. Will require working closely with Process Availability Leaders, Unit Managers, Maintenance Leaders, Reliability Specialists, and Site Leadership. Accountabilities: Develops and executes Site's business plan to maintain mechanical integrity of pressure containing equipment and support infrastructure. Establishes objectives aligned with Site's targets for process safety and regulatory compliance. Regularly reviews progress and performance metrics, initiating corrective actions when required. Provides technical direction and leadership to inspection group. Defines, communicates, prioritizes, and executes programs and processes consistent with and in support of Site's reliability targets ensuring risk is appropriately managed. Counsels on industry standards and best practices to ensure work products are technically sound and in accordance with corporate standards. Manages staff. Initiates selection, promotion, and corrective action when appropriate. Accountable to fair and uniform application of human resources policies. Collaborates with Supply Chain Management to secure supplementary engineering and inspection services. Coordinates contractor assessment to ensure compliance with company's technical standards, safe work practices, service, quality, and performance efficiency. Requirements     Qualifications/Requirements: -B.S. in Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering 10 - 15 years industrial experience -Knowledgeable and conversant with contents of API 510 (PV Inspection), API 570 (Piping Inspection), API 653 (Tank Inspection), API 571 (Degradation Mechanisms), API 579 (FFS), API 580 (RBI), Sections I, VIII, and IX of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessels codes and applicable jurisdictional requirements. Preferred Qualifications -Familiarity with Process Safety Management (PSM) -PE License -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Excellent organizational and team building skills -Self-Motivated. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
